Um ok then download:
http://tb1.edskes.com/klmcodec101beta7.exe
sorry fogot the pw:
www.megacodecpack.com
See if this codec pack helps. First do what it says in the read me like delete quick time, real player or any of that crap.
Then once its installed click start then K-Lite Codec Pack then tools and run GSpot Codec Information.
In GSpot Codec Information load the avi file that is giving you these problems and it will tell you what codec your system is using to play the video and if any problems in can detect or whatever.
Then you should be able to find out what codec is causing this to happen.
or maybe its a mad avi file?
try a few more
and try a few different avi files in GSpot Codec Information
and see if its just this one and see if they are all use the same codecs...
i have a ton of different avi files and they all use different codecs....
so hopefully you will be able to narrow down the problem this way....
and if u do find a bad codec then unregister it and then delete it....
to unreg if u need to regsvr32 -u c:\file name.dll
or if for some reason the problem is that the codec wont register then register it with:
regsvr32 c:\file name.dll
any problems just ask
cya,
Will
