..but I've zipped up your Tutorial in rtf format (unedited, credit is deserved!!) + the autorun menu + other tools needed to a friends private ftp. If you mind just let me know and I'll remove it a.s.a.p and just add a link to this thread.

Thanks again and have a very merry xmas!

It seems to me the loader.bin would not have to left in the root of the CD as well as the orginal boot.bin True/False?

Try it see what happens. But I think you're right.

Also I don't think that it is necessary to use the BOOT.BIN file as the Loader.bin files boots from the CD anyway.

I'll try it and get back to you.

pcservicetech, craftyc, you are correct. Loader.bin and Boot.bin do NOT really need to be left on the CD. The -b option of CDIMAGE has already put it at the specified location of the CD during the encoding time. During the boot of your CD, the BIOS will go to this specified location to execute the loader.bin or the boot.bin.

I must admit it was a challenge and I learned alot. Now for those of you who still want a 2n1 CD but are either having bad luck, or just don't have the time, I have created a simple guide to creating a 2n1

Question about the difference of these two version's of XP.
I have installed the Home Edition on a computer, and everything is telling me it is a PRO version. I know how khauyeung talked about the home edition having a pro id card, but what other functionality item's would be different? Is there even really that much differencr between them? If not, what's the point in calling one a "Home edition"?

The links on your page will not work for me although they appear to be correct.

I was able to download them by dropping the filename from the link which took me to a file list. Cheers.
