OK, I've tried FireFox again for the third time (and 2 days testing) after I heard there was a new version. My results are the same....IE still wins hands down. I've tried all the FireFox speed tricks, but IMHO it's nothing more than an illusion that makes it appear to be loading faster than IE, but there's no difference in the final results. Although IE isn't perfect, I like the right-context options I can apply, download managers work better, my financial sites work were FireFox doesn't, and for me personally an extra window is preferable to tabs, although either is OK. Bottom line, FireFox is a bunch of hype, and IE delivers more of what I want.
Call me wacko and non-mainstream, but I don't care. The first time I tried Netscape back in 1995 it sucked and IE worked to my liking, and I find the same true today.
