..i had a VOodoo3..not a 5.
16MB.

Now a Geforce2 32MB.

Is it not better?

Anyway..

i just got a new soundcard put in. A cheap ass $15 one.
ANd it still fucks up.

i'm gonna format *again* (i just did like 2 weeks ago)
...get rid of old drivers and what not.
And check it again. :-(
Anyone know where else I can go for info on this?
I tried the manufactuer of my geforce..but..ugh..the form u gotta fill out is SOOOOo long.

i formatted .......using the XP drivers for everything. Had to get the drivers thru the MS thing.
And ITS STILL DOES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOMEONE!??!?!?!? ANYYYOOOONNNEEEEEEEE??

yeah..i upgraded to 28.32 also.
Nothing.

Upgraded to the ones from the manufactuer..same thing.

On the IDE channel your DVD is on, well should be on both channels......

I'm running XP pro , GF2-mx400 and an ESS1938 based soundcard , no problems here except the CPU running out of grunt , only a k62-500. , Try a clean install approach and go from there , After a clean install my machine plays DVD /VCD and games much better , things can just get too messy.
