Fan Noise in my computer

I just did the 12 to 7 v conversion.the noise has gone down quiet a lot.feeling comfortable to sit near the puter.

you should try cleaning the fan or otherwise making sure th fan is mounted vertically....

I followed ur advise.
now I have agood for nothing 80 mm fan in my table,starring at me (just kidding).
I have a fantastic homebuilt baybus working like a charm.

hehehe, zulu, I also try clamping big speaker magnets to either side of my box when that doesn't work.

(please don't try that either!)
