There ain't nothing worse than to have dsl/cable for 3 years, then you buy a house and they say YES it is available, then you close on the house and move in and they say NO it isn't available. And then you think, oh no I have to go back to dial-up. Or disconnect the phone service all together and do without internet altogether (Yes I was this mad at them).
But luckily I finally talked to someone that got me hooked up at their slow speed (1.5 down 384 up), not the 3 down I was hoping for, but hey it beats dial-up.
I feel for you Dave.
Congrats, JD on finally getting it.

Congrats JacKDynne!
Once you go broadband, you can never turn back. I was on the same boat as you for such a long time. All the neighboring towns were getting cable (DSL wasn't an option since my location was too far from the C/O) that I was getting frustrated... Then, I remember like it was yesterday, the day before Thanksgiving in 2003, it became available where I live. I have never jumped into my car so fast and rushed on over to order it!
Anyways, congrats again and enjoy!
