Looky see if you have these bad boys in your system32 folder...

sfcman32.dll
msicp.dll
sysobj.exe

If so, make backups (just in case) and delete from system32 folder. Then run all your spywares (especially HiJackThis).

If you will look on my server under Dudelive in the uploads folder you will see a folder named "Here Is The Pages". I was able to print screen to show what the screen looked like. I was almost sure if I saved the web page complete nothing would happen rather it would be "Blank" and it was as you can see. I will check the files tomorrow when I get a chance.

Thanks

Looked at your "screen" and it's the same place I got hijacked to the other day. Using AdAware, HijackThis and the method I describe in my 'tips' thread got rid of it. If you do the same and delete the files I listed above, you *might* get lucky. The prob is these bastards change the .dll files on a regular basis. One day it's sfcman32.dll and a week later it's sfdman32.dll! That's why it's so important to use my method AS SOON as you get hijacked.

Now let's be honest. You're not going to get hijacked at cnn.com, drudgereport, billboard etc. You get hijacked at free porn, mp3, and warez sites. Tell your boss to knock it off!

Good luck!

Now I have got to find a way to fix this and NOT tell how it happened, "cause if his wife found out where HE had been SHE would raise h#ll over this since he give her a real hard time when she complained about it. Yeah that's right he played dumb. I might just leave it and install netscape 'cause it is probably going to happen again.

Will it cause other problems as long as you DON"T use IE? If it won't cause other problems it ain't no need in fixin' it cause it will happen again.

Thanks

Well if crap is running in the background then yea it will more than likly effect all browsers or just slow down the computer a lot. That and it might be recording everything u do. Damn key loggers.

If its just ie activex or whatever then no it should only effect ie bassed browsers.

@tubebouy...After checking the computer very carefully.... Neither of the 3 files you mentioned are there at all. It has gotten so bad that when you use IE at all it will lock up and Dr Watson will try to debugg it. Crtl + Alt + Delete will bring it so you can end task on Dr Watson and then it will be unlocked.

I even tried a system restore and revieved a message to the effect upon rebooting that it could not restore it to that Date. I tried more than one restore point and none worked.

So it seems as though tomorrow night I will do a complete new install and get it ready for the other guys thursday morning to install all their programs. So should I restore it back to the factory original stuff or can the Dell CD that came with it be used for a clean install?

Thanks
Dudelive
