Introduction
First of all, I would like to carify that I did NOT write this driver myself. So if it doesn't work or it works great, you don't have to contact me. I'm not responsible for anything this driver does to your computer, but I can tell you honestly tell you that I'm using this driver and it has been working great. However, whether EAX 3.0 (Advanced HD) is enabled in this driver set is still unknown. Some said it does and some said it doesn't. Please post your findings at the Rage3D board. Link is provided in Link and Reference section.
This driver originally comes from a china hardware site:

This page is created for those of you who doesn't read or understand Chinese. Enjoy using this driver, and spread the good news~ : )

Installation Guide for YouP-PAX III Final WDM Driver
Download YouP-PAX III Final WDM Driver
If you have just installed Windows, install your most-updated chipset driver, video card driver, and MS DirectX 8.1 (or above)
Uninstall any previous installed SBLive! driver by using Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. Previous youP-PAX driver can be uninstalled by running CTZAPXX.exe from your old youP-PAX driver.
Remove the soundblaster live! devices in System->Device Manager.
Since WindowsXP comes with its own SBLive! driver, you'll have to remove it manually to prevent WinXP's auto-detect and reinstall built-in driver. Delete "wdma10k1.inf" file located in C:\Windows\inf. Since INF folder is hidden by default, you may need to select "Show hidden files and folders" in Tools -> Folder Options...
Unpack YouP-PAX III Final WDM Driver and run "CTZAPXX.exe" in your driver folder. (e.g. C:\YouP-PAXIII-P\Drivers\CTZAPXX.exe) For a Simplified Chinese interface, run with " /L:CH". For a Traditional Chinese interface, run with " /L:HL"
Press OK to install
After installation is finished, reboot. You should see the new Creative Volume Control in your system tray on your next startup.
Driver is installed and working successfully.
Recommended settings:
Base: 50% - 63%
Treble: 63% - 71%
Master Volume should be always under 85% to avoid sound distortion
MAX (slide up) the sound source you use and MUTE those that you don't use
If you have YouP-PAX driver installed piror to this installation, you may need to repeat the installation of the new driver before it works correctly.
Windows 98/ME users should have no problem following the steps above. However, notice that your system may prompt for your Windows Setup CD for some files that are needed.
Congratulation! You have got yourself a Audigy for $0.00! You may now install Audigy2 Software Package for SB Live!/Audigy. Please follow the guide below...
note: since AutoEAX would mess up games that feature EAX 5.1 (2-CH stereo instead of 5.1 surround), AutoEAX is removed from this driver package. However, AutoEAX is very helpful for users who use WinDVD 4.0. If you want to have AudoEAX back, copy the file "CtSpkHlp.dll" from the AutoSpk folder to Drivers\Common. Then uninstall and reinstall the driver.
note: if audio in DVD doesn't work correctly, disable EAX and try again.
Installation Guide for Audigy2 Software Package for SB Live!
Download Audigy2 Software Package for SB Live!/Audigy. This software package is designed and tested to work with YouP-PAX III Final WDM Driver. This software works under Win98/ME/2K/XP. It does NOT work with official SB Live! driver nor any Audigy1 or Audigy2 card.
Unpack "A2ForSBLive.exe" and copy the SB_INSTALL folder to root directory. (e.g. C:\ or D:\). You MUST copy it to the root directory, otherwise the installation will stop at 0%!
If you have previous Creative software installed, uninstall it using Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. Afterwards, delete everything under \Programs Files\Creative
Run Setup.exe from \SB_INSTALL folder
Locate the file Ctrun.dbd in C:\SB_INSTALL\CTRun when windows prompts for it
Select English (Chinese versions should work if you want)
Select both "Sound Blaster Audigy 2" and "Creative MediaSource", and press Install.
You'll notice that the text appears as ???. Don't worry, press Next
IMPORTANT: Select Custom Installation (2nd icon from the top)
Uncheck the last item on the list. Since we have installed our own driver, we don't need anything better.
Next, select your speakers setup
The next screen should be a bunch of ??? again. The question it is asking is if you want to enable digital output as your default sound output. Select 1st radio button for NO and 2nd radio button for YES. You can change it later using the Mixer later.
Reboot as instructed after the installation is finished.
Congratulation! You have got yourself the Audigy 2 software package for $0.00!!! Happy?
Troubleshooting
If you system doesn't start up correctly, that ususally means your Windows were bad before. Try going into Safe Mode (F8) -> System Restore, or re-install Windows altogether.
If you get a run-time error related to the file MtdAcq.exe after windows is loaded, call Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete and find StartMS.exe and End Task. Then, delete or rename the file "MtdAcq.exe" and "StartMS.exe" in C:\Program Files\Creative\Shared Files\Media Sniffer
