Tried that one, although it "recovers" the files...When I use PSP or any other package to view, it says the files are in the incorrect format....
Still looking...

btw:
When doing ANY type of recovery,
copy the recovered files to a NEW destination!
Check them, and then you can re-format the card in the unit you will be using it,
before copying the files back to it.

I've now tried about a dozen so called "Recovery Programs" All have failed for one reason or the other, either they don't see any files at all, or see the files & extract them to a NEW location. Upon inspection of the extracted files...No programs will open them properly...
I suspect it's the Fuji Camera that I have, which really does mess up the file system once the SM Card has been formatted,
Fortunately after days of searching I have located the missing Pictures on a spare Hard Drive, that I used for backup, So I'm back in the Wife's good books!!!!!
When I have time I will need to experiment with a few more proggies to see what I can reclaim, as I doubt I will be that fortunate again!!!!!!

Congrats
I'm glad you found it, so you can be "safe" around the wife
The problem you mentioned, I have seen some times, while recoverirg hard-drives, when the programs
have problems with crosslinked files and such.
The free programs, coming from the one I mentioned has beem able to fix like 90% of "my" problems.
But there are better ones, but they cost some money,
like "GetDataBack", "R-Studio" and "Active UNDELETE", the last one beeing my favorite at my work.

I did a little test. I took a CF card with 3 folders, about 64 jpgs and several Canon raw pics, formatted the card in my PC, then went to a friend who has the latest Recover My Files, stuck the card in a Lexar card reader, and tried our luck!
It seemed to work flawlessly. After locating recoverable files and before saving them you have to specify where to save and what to save. The "what to save" involves individual checkboxes and I ran out of enthusiasm after about 20. All 20 were recovered apparently perfectly, jpg and raw alike.
Perhaps I was lucky but I now know where I'll be going if I mess up my card - hope this is helpful.

For future reference to anyone, I've tried Zero Assumption and it worked.
