More than 35 thousand readers of the German magazine PC Praxis have named Kaspersky Internet Security “Product of the Year” under the category of “IT security”. This year is the first time Kaspersky Lab’s Internet Security product has bypassed its main competitors on the German market, Symantec and McAfee solutions. Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 protects PCs from viruses and other types of malicious programs, hacker attacks and spam. PC Praxis is an authoritative German weekly magazine for advanced users and IT professionals that has a circulation of about 150 thousand. Although Kaspersky’s security products have trouble grabbing market share from competitors Symantec and McAfee, the company’s solutions often receive top results in terms of detection rates and various other security tests.
