I got the Microsoft Sidewinder force feedback steering wheel. The game port version...not the USB version.

Now i can't install it on Win XP, as the drivers don't work. The site does not have the drivers for the game port. only the USB. anyone know where i can find the XP drivers for the game port version?

thanx

Have you tried a usb adapter??, The drivers are in XP you just need to go into game controllers and add it, but get the usb adapter.. The force feedback and all work here.....

i could kick myself....

the drivers for the wheel is in XP the whole time.....

SORRY MICROSOFT....YOU GUYS ARE.....i hate to say this....OK.....

when you add the game controller, select microsoft sidewinder (auto detect) from the drop down list. Its just that....auto detects what device you have, and installs it....since the wheel is microsoft, and its force feedback, there are no problems for this.....

JACK....CLOSE THIS POST....thanx bro......THE WHEEL IS WORKING.
