MSN ISP provider and connecting

I recently setup a friends computer with XP and i was getting all his isp information back up so he could connect to the internet. I got it all setup via MSN explorer because I figured that is what it was supposed to be used for. Well I gave his computer back and he does not like connecting to the internet via MSN explorer (go figure). My question is: Is it possible to connect to the internet a different way (other than MSN explorer) when your ISP is MSN?

yes it is possible, I worked at msn about a year ago and its actually very easy.

when using dialup networking of course you need to get your phone numbers

on the username put MSN/username
and of course the password
