Its silly.. but in reality.. ICANN is a crown business and has to appeal to the majority. A .xxx domain would be another way of having a special plate..

If they had their own .xxx and if NO .com were allowed to forward to a .xxx I doubt my kids would run across porn sites unless they were looking for them. Currently, it's too easy for anyone to mistakenly be forwarded to a porn site.
