Hello
I haven't been here in quite some time and I'm sorry but Ive had alot of family things going on. My father is now not expected to live through this weekend. I'm dealing with things as well as possible and I have alot of support here at home. Betaone is and will always be my home on the net and as soon as things settle here I'll be back often.

James, I've never got over my dad dying. I know what you are looking at. Dad died 25 years ago and was 6 years younger than I am now. This is a piece I found some years ago that is what I imagined my dad said to me in the moments before he left us.
And if I go while you're still here,
know that I keep on vibrating to a different measure
behind a veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar again
--both aware of each other.

I have been there and deeply empathize. My dad died at 88 from an accident , 6 years back and my mom is now 88 and had a stroke a week before Xmas. She has almost recovered fully except her balance is still not as good.

My father passed away today at about 2:00 pm. Now I can reflect a bit and take a breath

Just remember that dying is a part of life, just as birth is. We live our lives, we give, we take, we enjoy, we remember. Enjoy what's in your heart James. That's what counts.
