Favorite AV and Firewall
What are your favorite AV and Firewall proggies?
I have been trying out AVG Free AV, and Comodo firewall and find them pretty good.
I've gone away from Norton for various reasons you can guess. Zone Alarm Pro is a great firewall. NOD32 is a great item too.

Kaspershy Internet Security is what I bought to run. I've used many different ones in the past but I like this the best. I also use the FREE Ewido Anti-Spyware.

BitDefender security 10, but it has several quirks. Do not know how long I can put up with it.
When I instaaled it it said that it had to sisable Microsofts firewall, which it did . But shortly thereafter an MS security update re-enabled the MS firewall, and you can no longer disable it. Ever since that I have had some problems with Bitdefender.
I imagine others also have have some problems with BitDefenders.

Maybe I'm being naive, but I'm using NOD32, Spybot, and Windows Firewall (along with some common sense) behind a router...So far, so good...

for XP, I always used NOD 32 and Sygate firewall;
with vista, I am using MS One Care, and the built in windows firewall..
Behind a NAT router of course...

user needs - Sorry to hear about your problem, but happy to see you switched to Kaspersky! Since I've been running Kaspersky I have had no problems and have not looked back.
