Kids nicked for stealing 26 million veterans' data
Well the kids of today, what are they like?
TWO ADOLESCENTS were arrested by the feds at the weekend after they stole a laptop which had details of 26.5 million veterans and military staff.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the feds swooped on Jesus Pinada (19) and Christian Montano (19) in Rockville.
They face charges including burglary and theft, and the report said that they didn't realise the data was on the notebook - they were interested in the machine itself. So shouldn't some government official get nicked for carelessly leaving 26.5 million peoples' data on a notebook? On this matter the feds remain silent.
