Die Browsermaus
Opera has unleashed the final version of its new browser today. Opera 9 features built-in support for BitTorrent searches and widgets for desktop dooberries, such as currency converters and World Cup tickers.
Opera says it has boosted its browser's security capabilities, with better pop-up blocking and a security bar to block phishing attempts. As ever, Opera says efficiency is the browser's byword, with the ability to launch exactly where you left off and a trash can for retrieving closed tabs.
Opera CEO Jon S von Tetzchner said: "For Opera 9 we worked hard to push the limits of what people expect from a web browser, with increased speed, new web standards support and innovative features."
Opera 9 is available from the firm's website

here. What fun we can have comparing the two.
