Other accused may face lethal injection
A MAN FACING the death penalty after a squabble over an Xbox which resulted in multiple murders has pleaded guilty but will spend the rest of his life in jail.
The
Tallahassee Democrat said 19 year old Robert Cannon pleaded guilty to 14 charges and will give evidence against the other three defendants in the case.
The prosecutor in the case will ask for the death penalty for Troy Victorino (28), Michael Salas (19) and Jerone Hunter (19) when the case comes to trial early next year. Six people and a dog were bludgeoned to death after it's alleged Victorino organised the attack to retrieve a missing Xbox. The electric chair is based in Florida State Prison, but lethal injection can be substituted as a way to be compulsorily shuffled off your mortal coil there.
