Office upgrade error with Win XP SP1

How do I slipstream into SP2? Wouldn't be easier just to download a newer version od Office? Would I have problems in the future if I continue with the version I have now, and the upgrade again when a newer version comes out?

check out the tutorial section, there is a good walkthrough in how to slipstream SP2

When I slipstreamed SP1 into Office, I have had no trouble upgrading to SP2.
