Wiki: To GREATLY increase the likelihood of compatibility with installer software, be sure your user account is a member of the new "Trusted Installers" group!!!
HotRod, try uninstall those apps, add yourself to Trusted Installers group, reboot teh PC just in case, and try installing the apps again.
1) if you're using the local Adminsitrator account, make sure you've given it a password.
2) Add the local/network account into the Trusted Installers group.
3) log out, then back in using the account from above.
