ATI confident about Multi VPU
ATI has officially confirmed its Multi VPU and company sources tell us it's very enthusiastic about it.
We have also confirmed that the company plans to reveal this architecture at Computex, as many of its motherboard partners will present their designs.
We know that there are two different modes to render an image, the first one is chess board tile rendering while the second is AFR (Alternate Frame Rendering), where the first card is doing a pair frame We can also confirm that you will be able to use your existing X800 and X850 PCIe cards.
