Desktop display
A friend had his pc lock up and when he rebooted his desktop came up with that task pane on the left of the desktop. Anyone know how to get rid of that? System restore didn't change it back.

Not sure, I bet it has somthing to do with Active Desktop. What version of Windows is this?

It's XP Pro.
Here's the fix for that problem is anyone ever comes across it.
