I think:
People [the blanket term] will eventually realise that they can develop there own platforms, and don't need to beg a software developer to create a product for them. I'm by no stretch anti-microsoft; I'm pro-consumer, allowing them to make a intelligent and well-rounded decision about their wants and needs.
