lost my reduce open windows icon on toolbar
The icon on tool bar used to reduce all open windows diappeared. Maybe I deleted it by mistake.

Does anybody know how I could restore the icon to the tool bar? No idea what it "ran" to reduce the open windows.

Thanks

Hey rikytik,

Try this location within your Windows Explorer:

C:\Documents and Settings\<USER PROFILE NAME>\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

You should see the icon there for "Show Desktop". Just right click and drag to your Desktop, or Quick Launch menu in your Taskbar, and then select "Create Shortcut Here".

That should do it for you.

Ah. Thanks. Sure missed that handy icon. I found it in Documents/Settings/User/Desktop. The actual item: show desktop wasn't in the folder you referred to above. Until I dragged it to the tool bar from whre I found it. I couldn't find it before because I was searching for "reduce", term windows help seemed to use.
