switching gamer account

stupid question really, my xbox has a problem, it jjst cuts out while playing most likely its power, but i dont wanna deal with the problem, since my older brother has one as well. this is what i wanna know, my xbox live account, the is some type of configuration file for it right, in my fat32 partition of my hd or something like that, i wanna know is there some way for me to switch it from there over to this new xbox, or will my account just pick back up when i use account recovery. thats the first question, second question is, if i can do it through account recovery, is there still a way i can change over the account info from the old xbox...holla back

it will be picked up when you use the account recovery under xbox live.

As far as I know you can use account recovery multiple times, its just a way of copying your profile to another xbox, or you could copy it to a xbox memory card.
