OXP SP2 Integrated Administrative Install Point "Quick & Easy"
Download the administrative sp2 update from Microsoft:
http: //download.microsoft.com/download/officexpstandard/sp/oxpsp2/w98nt42kmexp/EN-us/oxpsp2a.exe
1) Insert your original XP CD. Start>Run>SETUP.EXE /a
2) Enter the req. information (Company Name and Key)
3) Click next and choose C:\Office as the install point (This just extracts the CD to this folder)
4) Extract the file you downloaded oxpsp2a.exe to C:\Office
5) Start>Run>msiexec /p c:\office\MAINSP2ff.msp /a c:\office\proplus.msi SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb /L* c:\office\sp1Log.log
*Note: you may have either proplus.msi or setup.msi in your files change the run line accordingly
6) Start>Run>msiexec /p c:\office\Owc10SP2ff.msp /a c:\office\owc10.msi SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb /L* c:\office\owc10.log
7) Delete: MAINSP2ff, Owc10SP2ff, sp1Log, owc10 on the latter 2 log files you may want to confirm that the last line reads "Installation operation completed successfully" to be sure that all went well.
8) Burn the contents of C:\Office on a CD label it anything I chose OXPSP2
9) You now have a integrated OXP SP2 CD no serial req. for installation.
Update Publisher XP to SP2 follow the same basic steps and in step 5 replace proplus.msi with pub.msi
Start>Run>msiexec /p c:\publisher\MAINSP2ff.msp /a c:\publisher\pub.msi SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb /L* c:\publisher\sp1Log.log
SKIP step 6 for pub
Just installed it on my test box, install went perfect, runs perfect every app is SP-2

Works like a charm! Thanks for this. I had to copy the contents of office cd1 to my h/d and then continue with step 4 to continue the process. Neither setup.exe /a or setuppls.exe /a worked.

1) Insert your original XP CD. Start>Run>SETUP.EXE /a
Does this mean the Unpatched Office XP CD? (As in Unslipstreamed SP1/OfficeXp)

Yes I used the original Corp CD intead of updateing the slipstreamed sp1 that should work however, I opted just start over fresh since sp2 has all the previous updates included.
