Virtual path mappings within Serv-U:
These mappings allow you to map physical paths to other directories on your computer or network.

Iīve tried to map a network-drive in SERV-U but I canīt get it to show up among the other local mapped directories.

Can someone help me out with this matter?

TIA
IB

Wouldn't it work to just create a shortcut to one of these drives? I know there is a way...

Of course, whenever I make a shortcut, and try to use it, the stupid program downloads it instead of following it.

make sure that the network drive is mounted...

You need to create a virtual link in Serv-U..

FTP
-> Settings>first page on for linking..

Not sure if that helps.

I am not using Serv-U, but the way I did it was to map a network drive by going to My Network Places finding the drive on the network I want to map and select it and give it a letter of my choice so I can remember it. I then can go to the computer running the server and will see another drive.
Then link from there which ever file or folder you choose. This works as long as both computers are on and you can access the files from the computer with the server.

Thanks
Dudelive
