MP3 FM Modulator
Just bought this little toy from WalMart for $30.00 I'd show a picture, but I'm about to goto bed so I'm too lazy to take one and I can't find any pictures of it anywhere on the web. I can't even find a picture of it at the companies website. If you want to have your local WalMart look it up in their system, here's the UPC code 0-23034-08423-5 It's the size of a cig lighter, it plugs into the cig lighter plug and it will broadcast on 7 different FM channels. It has a line in jack or you can plug in any USB flash stick with mp3 files on it and using the play and rewind buttons on this unit enjoy your music wireless on your car radio or other radios near you. Sweet little toy. I could care less if I every get a CD player in my car now. This is just too easy and sounds great. I'll take a picture later for anyone that cares. Reply within if you care enough to make me post a picture.

Those things are kinda cool. A friend of mine has one that he uses for his ipod on the road. Just plug the unit into the cig lighter, and then the ipod into the unit and bam, music through your car speakers Pretty nice. However, one of the drawbacks I have noticed with it is FM interference. If you are on a FM channel that is close to an actual channel that is being broadcasted, you will get distortion when playing your music The units I have seen play on the lower FM frequencies (88.1 - 89.9 or so) which usually isnt a problem, unless you are in a town which uses one of those low frequencies for something. But yes, overall a pretty good deal

Yes, this unit is unlike most others because you don't need an ipod or mp3 player to plug in. Just a simple $20.00 128MB USB flash stick will do. This unit unlike most has 7 different channels to select from so that's really nice.

Um why not using tapes anymore? Like my cd player uses a tape to brodcast.

Guess it sounds a lot better?

Wow, I really feel good about this find. How often do you find something that's not for sale on ebay? Not often! I knew if I waited long enough I'd find someone who seen this little gagets potental and post it for sale on Ebay. No I didn't post it. Now I can share pictures of this little unit without posting them myself. I'm so lazy at times.

Check out the pictures here in the listing:

Dudelive is an unknown quantity at this point
KC have you tried it yet?? If so how is the sound and if it will play mp3's? If it work good then I may not need a cd player. I saw it at Costco and was not sure if it worked or not.

Thanks
Dudelive

@War - No it don't sound as good as the tape audio in adapter 100% of the time, because it can still receive interference from time to time. After all it is radio, but most of the time it's GREAT! If not I just bump it to another channel. For that reason there are 7 different channels to select from. I'm very happy with it. I don't have a CD player or tape deck in our vehicles.

Yes, I bought 5 of them. I own two and gave the rest away as gifts. Many people at work that I show it to have bought their own and are happy as well. You just dump the MP3 files on your USB flash drive, plug the card in the FM modulator and your off. My father-in-law is really happy using it to plug in the mobile DVD player when he runs the kids around. Seems the little DVD player is fine for the picture, but the little speaker they put in those things don't put off much volume. The FM modulator unit come with an audio patch cord.
