Hi

Thanks once again to everyone who has taken the time to reply.

*McoreD*: With reference to the ASP.NET account; I don't have Visual Studio installed and I first noticed the stopping at login after i installed the .NET software. I really don't know how and why it became an Admin Account ..... as the only user, one minute I was able to go straight through to the desktop and the next it I noticed it was stopping at login with just my name there. I thought that this was a bit weird and eventually checked out the User Accounts in C/P, and there it was, the ASP.NET (Admin) passworded account. I had absolutely no part in it, so I'm also puzzled by this. Anyway, I've deleted it and not noticed anything unusual that would require the account .... at least on everything that I need to use daily on the pc.

War59312: I don't use IIS so I guess I won't be needing the account. Thanks.

PC Tech: With reference to hiding any account that you don't nee to use; I guess
War has answered that for both of us and anyone else who might need to know this.
Thanks again for your input.

If it turns out that I do need the ASP.NET account, I'll ask again on this forum and I know I'll be sure to get the answer.

Regards to all

LOL..
I know,Will.....but it seems that only the latest version of .net creates that admin account, because I already had .net installed (version 1.1 I think).....some of the latest apps require it to run.....
