Learning
looking to find a language that is easy to learn and not outdated. I was thinking of C# or VB .net, but I dont know either, I know VB6.0, but I dont really know the .net thing. Which language would be good to learn and offers power and ease of use.

Here is what i'm looking to do with it.

Database Entensive Applications, Web enabled apps with database backend, Even some game programming. Should I learn 2 languages? If so which ones? I am open to suggestions on other languages. I want something that is easy to learn! Any help that is offered is appreciated!
