The Criminal Court yesterday gave a 23-year-old computer hacker a suspended jail term of two years and eight months and fined him 12,000 baht for fraudulent use of another person's credit card account over the Internet. Warakorn Widanai was found guilty of using the credit card account of another man, identified only as Akarapol, to spend 47,658.99 baht on two occasions to buy mobile phones in June 2001. The account was held at the Siam Commercial Bank's branch in the medical faculty at Chiang Mai University.
