Went back to NAV after finding out how poorly NOD32 stops trojans and the totally flawed quarantine function in the program.

There is one problem with F-Prot Antivirus.

Outlook and similar e-mail programs:
Attachments are scanned when an attempt is made to run/open them whereas with NOD32 Antivirus, it is scanned while receiving.

Oh well, it's still not bad.

To test how F-Prot responds to email viruses, I actually double clicked an attachment in one of the emails -- price.exe which was Bagle-AG.

F-Prot was uptodate but it didnt respond immediately. Couple of dos windows open here and there. After like 30 mins, F-Prot displayed a warning saying: Windows\System32\_dll.dll is infected by the worm.

It would be better if F-Prot scanned incoming emails just like Norton, NOD32 and avast! etc..

thnx for the warning. it's just that I don't see it as a problem because I don't doubleclick attachments.
