What they won't give you a new one for free?

I have gotten three so far. Every time Time Warner Road Runner changes modems I get the latest one for free.

I am on time warner also and there is something to buying your own, but be careful and get a good one and I would advise against trying to increase uploads or downloads because they DO check. I know you said you were on comcast but they all do the same checks. Good luck and I hope you get it fixed soon.

I did like "war59312" said and used theirs and when things go wrong they will give me another one...New too.

Thanks

Yeap pretty sweet. I'm starting to like Time Warner for a change. It took them three and half years but speed is nice, top 5% in the state and their support still sucks but is getting better. And yea free hardware is nice. Cuase that would suck if I had to buy everything I got for free. I'm on wireless too so I would have to pay a lot. Even though its only b standard but still they use the best stop and i think the router is like $500. U know it supports up to 8 dirrectly connected computers and like 200 wirelessly. Nice as hell. Just the firewall does not have that many options but still good.

Yea I want dsl. They have some 10mbps dsl here. But you have to be within 2 miles and I'm 2.4 miles away.

Yea TW tech support still sucks.
