Gosh, ok..
CuteFTP kept giving me errors in WinXP (5in1) (the Send Report Errors)

FTPVoyager - i didnt like
FlashFXP - ...same
SmartFTP - ...didnt like the way its queue worked.

Is there any CuteFTP clone?? Or can someone send me a version of CuteFTP that won't give me errors??

There are other FTPs
like WsFTP, bulletFTp etc..

Learn to like FlashFXP..

I don't like it at the beginning.. and have tried many others
my friend recommend WsFTPbut I always come back to FlashFXP..

must be habitual syndrome

Heya

I use flashfxp and like it best from the others. BulletFtp is also cool, but Flash works best for me!!

Enjoy

SmartFTP is the way to go.
Give it a second look.
It has features even better than CuteFTP Pro

It seems there are quite a few FTP proggies out there. Each one has some folks that like it for one reason or another. Simply saying that you like (xxxxxxxx) is not much help.

What we need is folks to throughly test one or two of them and find out what works and what doesn't. Some details on what it will do well, and comments about things that don't work, could be better etc. In other words an FTP proggie "Shootout".

FTP Client proggies are relatively intricate now and it takes some time (Weeks) to learn them in depth. Nobody would have the time to test them all completely.

To start things off: I have been using FlashFXP for some Months now. So far I have not encountered any issue that it could not handle. In some cases it took awhile to figure out what to do. A big Thanks to the BetaNet folks for some help there.

So pick one (any one) and test it out completely. If you have to give up on it let us know why you did.

Serv-U ftp has been working for me, the only thing i had to do was give the ftp a name, and of course add users and permissions which is easy with this.
