That is to say, I'll reboot once in a while and browse to something on E: Then an error message pops up:
"
E:\directory is inaccessible. The directory is corrupt and unreadable." If I reboot, a message shows that my drive(E
needs to be checked for consistency. If I let it, a metric buttload of indices are deleted. I'd like to hear any opinions you guys may have.
Specs are:
Windows 2000 Pro, SP4
1.3GHz T-bird
512mb ram
(Side note, the drive is formatted as one drive, but is NOT on a promise card.)
