Exclusive: Movie Maker 2 On Longhorn/win2k3

Current builds of Windows Codename "Longhorn" do not ship with Windows Movie Maker. The Windows XP installation program for Movie Maker will not work on Longhorn or Windows 2003 server.

BetaONE has released a repackaged installer which overcomes this limitation.

That's GREAT Zone! That's the only reason why I didn't install Windows Server 2003 in my Pentium 4, and now I can.

Installed it in my Server 2003. The Movie Maker folder is 17.9 MB after installation. Going from a 3.58 MB installer to a 17.9 MB folder is pretty amazing!

Heh, yes. I too was impressed at how well some of the stuff compressed. Makes me wonder why the original MS installer is a collosal 11MB file.
