CANADIAN FIRM Nortel said that it has received a federal Grand Jury subpoena instructing it to supply a number of documents to the US Attorney's office in the northern District of Texas.
Nortel said those documents include financial statements, corporate, personal and accounting records, prepared during the period 1st of January 2000 to now.
The firm has been told it is subject to a criminal investigation being conducted by the authorities, and it said it will fully cooperate in that probe.
Nortel is already being investigated by US and Canadian stock exchange authorities.
