I run WinXP SP1 on Fat 32, and have several Ghost images for this setup.
If I convert my C drive to NTFS, will I be able to do something so I can restore any of these Fat32 Ghost images on the converted NTFS drive????

AFAIK,your ghost image will overwrite the NTFS patition with it's fat32 data.

unicorn is on a distinguished road
As I recall it Ghost will format the partition while restoring it. Check the manual to see if this still is true (it should be). This means you'll get back to your old FAT version if you ghost any of theese back.
Then you also can retrieve single files (or complete folders) using GhostExplorer. If you restore a file (etc) using GhostExplorer the file system of the target partition will be kept as is (of course, as everything else allready there also will remain).
You shouldn't restore a complete system partition using GhostExplorer as this would make XP confused - somewhere the system files "knows" what partition it is supposed to be at and I don't know what that happens if there is a mismatch.
I hope this helps at least somewhat - I'm not sure exactly what your goal is here.

Be very careful doing this. I loaded a ghost backup and ended up wiping out all of the partitions on my entire hard drive. For some reason, instead of just loading the partition back to the original one, it overwrote the entire drive. :/

Does Ghost 2003 work reliably with NTFS drives

Yes I have been using ghost 2003 since the day it came out with ntfs. And fat32 at the same time. Have done about 80 ntfs restores in the past few months.

I install a lot of beta software.

And no problems to date. May take a little while longer than fat32 but dont recall have not had to do one in a while.

Again, thanks for the input everybody

That is good to hear war59312.
Maybe you would tell me a bit more.
I would like to convert one or 2 15 gig partitions on my 80 gig hdrive, and leave the ithe 3 as fat 32. Is that wise, or should I convert all.
Does DVD burning work as well on NTFS?
I have a couple of rar files , and each time I try to extract it it says the resulting files are over 4 gig and fat 32 cannot handle this. Therefor I
want to convert to Ntfs.
Will I have to reinstall my C drive after I convert.

thanks
