I have a copy of office 2003 beta. The program installs perfectly but when I try to run it it states that the beta time has expired. Is there any way around this? I want to try out the program before purchasing it.

Thanks,

Paul

if this is not an old version, you can try it

But if the time is expired, you have to buy a copy

If you had the copy, didn't you evaluate it before it expires? All the Betas are now expired and you have to buy the retail version. Microsoft gave plenty of time for Beta testers to evaluate the software. You missed it bud.

Read the reviews for Office 2003. There are plenty everywhere. And you decide whether you want to purchase it.

Welcome to the forums.

I'm not sure if this will work , but you could try rolling back your computers clock , to the period when the beta was valid ant then try re-installing. This may get you a look at the new features , BUT it may also screw up other things / demos in your computer.
Personally I have seen it and am leaving Office 2000 on my system.

Just setup virtual pc and change the date in the bios to like 1/1/02 and then install winxp and make sure its set to the same date and restart and then install office 11 beta.

Should work, not tested by myself mind u bout in princple it should work. :P

i also have the beta, but it expires in either 180 days or by a certain date, which ever comes first, i believe that date was about 6 months ago or so actually, sadly. i think the virtual pc idea might work, other than that, see if theres a newer beta, or just buy it. maybe u know someone with it u could check it out from?
