I've been using Kaspersky Anti Virus for a long term alot of my friends use other software. Can anyone recommend anything else. Oh and it has to be ZA Pro friendly.

Thanx

I've been using Norton AV since version 1.0 for DOS. Always saved my butt! Never had a virus yet NAV didn't detect. My 2nd choice would be McAfee, which I've used at work. The key is to update either prog regularly.

NOD32+ZAP is an excellent combo. I know most of us is using that combo after number of discussions in the Internet Security forum.

If NOD32 is not for you, then NAV2003 or NAV2004.

I use Norton 2004 and regularly go to Do a online scan at http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_pcc.asp

Between the two I think I'm safe. What one wont catch the other will.

WinXP SP1 w/512MB RAM using NAV2003

(mem usage)
NPROTECT.EXE 3,528k
NAVAPSVC.EXE 1,036k
CCAPP.EXE 12,676k
CCEVTMGR.EXE 2,968
=
20MB memory used

I've heard a lot on how it consumes too much resources. 20MB of 512 is negligible, 3.9% memory usage, don't see any CPU usage.
