The compressed ZIP file is not over 4gigs, so it is possible to extract in a FAT32 system *if* the files in the ZIP files are less the 4gigs.

If the ZIP file contains an Image file of a DVD (over 4gigs) you won't be able to extract it fully.

Yea that's why I want to change to ntfs but winxp sp2 is bugy as hell. And don't feel like the hassle of restoring from an image. :P

Thank you all for the answers... lost track and wasn't subscribed to this one....

Yup it's an image file of a dvd, thank you ~*McoreD*~, u da mind reader, specifically all.windows.

thanks, richardc2000, war59312 4 da input too.

Changing to ntfs is not an option for me atm with my current systems... might have to find a hard drive sumwhere & jury rig it in a beta box with ntfs to burn a couple of these dvd's...

found an old mb, an asus a7v classic (kt133) which was put aside for all the bs surrounding it when it first came out, since then i think i can handle building a lil beta test box around it...
I think the fastest cpu would be 1.3 or 1.4gig Athlon Mod.B...
the downside is it's low fsb (100) but wtf just to play around with is aight imo... Some say the athlon xp pali's will run in it but asus won't support saying yes.
anyone have one of these still in use using a newer athlon xp cpu...? errr, umm i better move to hardware lates, jizac
