I think there is an unwritten code about breaking up
before Christmas - it is not normally done. Something
to do with not wasting the 2-3 months of shopping for a Christmas
present for "him". Unless, of course, a replacemnt is already there.

I usually give advice by citing examples. I'm a good example. I always got depressed when I was without a girlfriend. In fact after high school I broke up with my steady and got so depressed I joined the Army. I grew up there, but never got over being depressed when I didn't have a girl. after a lot of false starts, chance brought me a Christmas card from a girl I'd met by chance 3 years before and simply talked with and exchanged addresses. I met her again on a lark and married her, more years ago than I care to admit. No accounting for chance and weird events.

Alot of friends here at school tell me that its not worth it. But I would love to engage in a relation here. Though, the 2 women that I "sort of" look at like other chaps. There is one girl who I have shpealed with and she told she likes me, she is a wonderful girl.. but very controling and not in touch with her tangible side. since the break up, things have become pretty weird. We got together after being broken up for 2 days. then we went out for another 2 days, and called it off again. ever since i've seen her once or twice a week, and just this weekend, we were out, and we ended sleeping with each other, again. but yet we only remain friends. its alright now. just being friends with her is alright. but i'm too much of a man whore, cause i can't keep my hands off other woman when i'm with them. my bad i guess. hee hee hee. /me starts to dance
