After I boot and before I logon

And times to time when I'm running windows XP

Close and then uninstall your ZoneAlarm,reboot and see if this still happens..

I think there are probs with the mount/unmount timings of the TrueVerctor engine.....I have fixed a similar issue by my nephew by eleminating startup programs...turned out to be ZA

I know....my nephew's rig had his adsl randomly disconnecting in windows....

What happens if you uninstall ZA?

When I disable Norton autoprotect, all is working fine No more message

I dont even use auto protect as its a pos. Use nod32 for that. Scan with both manually.

It's a Zone Alarm file, but it's not necessarily a ZA problem.

It can be caused by using a tweak or reg hack to reduce the system shutdown time. If the system shuts down too quick it doesn't give ZA enough time to write the temp file back where it belongs.

Do you remember changing the shutdown time to less then the default, or using a setting to "force" the programs to closeon shutdown?

Try to verify it by manually shutting down ZA, wait a minute and reboot to see if you don't get the error.
