I installed SP2 XP and since it's install i cant see any activex content at all.
I went into security and put the security level for the internet to low and allowed full access to activex, still no use

I then uninstalled SP2 and went back to Xp with SP1..but still i can't view sites on the internet with activex content...

Please help someone

Not a bug, they took java out and the system is locked down be defualt.

You need to change two registry settings located here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_LOCALMACHINE_ LOCKDOWN

Change both keys there to zero.

Now this will allow all activex to work just like normal. So yea its a new secuirty option. By RC1 is should be working correctly.

Suppirsed u missed this one in the newsgroups. OR your not an offical beta tester. :P

cya,
Will
