Spyware remover (which One)

For me, Ad Aware is my choice. Been using this for a couple of months. So far, I'm happy with it. The other one is Spyware Removal from BPS.

I use Pest-Patrol only. Is there a reason to complement it?

SpyBot-S&D is the best tool for it and the great part is that it is free as well.

First try ad aware and see what it founds and then after cleaning try SpyBot-S&D and see if it still finds something.In my case i always used ad aware then i try`t SpyBot-S&D and it found a lot off stuff that ad aware left behind,so in my opinion is SpyBot-S&D the best.

I found that ADAware build 181 put it on a par with Spy Sweeper.  Faster too than the old version.  Gonna try SpyBot, though.  Thanks for this heads up.

Pest-Patrol: 22 problems/pests found
Spy Sweeper: 11 things found
Spybot S&D: 18 items found

Now the stuff found differs, from cookies to scary things (the scary things allready isolated in quaratine though since earlier). For the moment I'll go with Pest Patrol and Spybot S&D. Together theese two found most (not all?) problems. The world is a dark place.

You might allready know about it, I didn't. A big problem I think, at least at first glance, regarding HTA DOWNLOAD EXPLOIT in short letting HTA access the Net without your firewall will ever notice.

And another thing, when previewing this little post I see that the CODE tag shows up as a QUOTE in the post. Ok, I can live with that for a while.
