I've been casually ripping my cd's that I've been getting over the summer, so that I may bring just a few cd's to school, and not have to bring a whole crap lot of cds with me. I also don't want to lose the originals.
I'm using EAC as the ripper with the latest LAME plugin (external). I'm encoding at 320bit rate, and the sound is amazing.
Much better then easyMp3.
Oh ya..
This program detects errors in the cd and works around it so that the sound is uninterupted. I have found a new toy to play with.
I know that is not the only combo out there, what are some other technologies being used?
