TWO Ways, First the Hard way( M$ Way ) Highlight the Bookmark, ALT - UP Arrow one move at a time. The Eazy Way highlight Bookmark with mouse and left click and hold down, and move to desired location even other folders. This is much easier than using Organize Favorites.

Microsoft wasted a lot time and created additonal bloat by creating the Organize sub menu. Because it does'nt save time or do anything special.

I would second that.

what i understood about andru's problem was, the links in his Favourites folder appears in alphebetically without his interaction. so i am afraid that even after he manually move each link to the place he want, they will re-appear in alphebetical order - eventually.

btw, in contrast: i am looking a way to make the links in my Favourite folder to appear in alphebetical order, and i haven't come up with a solution yet.

Would have been nice if M$ allowed the ability to sort the favorites by creation date, rather than just sorting by name...:

@ andru it sounds as though something has been installed that is telling this to happen, as in some tweaking software and it may not be repaired until the change is made there.

Another way to sort all alphebetically will be to copy the favorites folder from your user account to somewhere else, then delete your favorites from the user account and paste them back from where you just copied them and all will be alphebetically folders and all.

Let us all know what caused it and the remedy
