Check /http://www.ping.be/satcp/realsize01.htm and you'll find out why some cd's have stored more info than they normally could......it has to do with the mode they are burned and with overburning capacities...

If it's an ISO of an actual CD then it would have to fit because it was on a CD in the first place. I also have had some movie images that were much larger than 700MB but was able to burn them to disk without any trouble. I think some of it has to do with the type of image as well, bin and cue files are commonly larger then the "burned" size of the CD.

If you can make a mode 2/2352 bytes cue/bin out of it,it should fit,but I suggest you to test the overburning capacity of your empty cd 1st....it's possible that your blank cd's can handle that capacity without the need to convert your imagefile........a while ago,I had some LeadData cd's that could store 730 MB without ruining the data... ..

TheMysterio,

If you find that the file truely will not fit on a 700 MB disc, you might look for 99' / 850 MB discs. I got some of these from CompUSA and have successfully burned an ~850 MB iso file to it using CDRWIN. I built the large ISO file using WinISO.

Good Luck,
Tomboy

KK,

I would also encourage you more to buy 99min CDRs rather than overburning CDRs.

you should be able to burn it just like a normal iso even though it is 700MB you should have no problem I've burnt some cds that extracted to be like 750MB as a bin/cue file and then burnt to a 700MB cd with no problems
