Who or what is GoogleBot ?

Did a member search: Nothing.
Did a post search: Nothing.

But shows up in the board stats.

So it must be some kind of big brother thing.

The above should get me a click on the bad boy meter.

Googlebot is the spider google users, it basically loads sites, jumping from link to like to generate the web site index google uses.

IBF detects the bot and gives it special handling so it can correctly browse the forums without storing cookies or remembering a session ID.
