Agreed. We are talking about serious drugs which destroy peoples lives, often leading them to a life of crime to support their habbits. Do you really want these substances to be legally availible in local bars/supermarkets/wherever?
I agree as well. I am not pro-drug legalization, but think about this:
Alcohol causes just as many (if not more) social problems as drugs do. Alcohol comes in many different strengths - beer, hard stuff. Kinda like pot; cocaine.
Maybe it is time to legalize "some" types of narcotics, sell them in a controlled environment and allow the government to reap the money generated by the taxes collected.
